Val di Cembra

A land of ′heroic " viticulture

The Val di Cembra, an amazing wine terroir in eastern Trentino, is located between high rocky walls carved by the Avisio stream.

Characterized by a continental alpine climate and by steep temperature drop, especially during pre-harvest period, it boasts soils rich in porphyry, limestone and sand.
Here the viticulture is called ′′ heroic “, since the vineyards, located on steep and sunny slopes, grow on dry stone wall terraces, with slopes even higher than 40%.
It is in this magical land that the elegance and complexity of our Müller Thurgau, a “mountain wine”, is born.

Besides this variety, also Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aimed above all to produce sparkling wine given their fresh and mineral profiles, are cultivated in this area together with Gewürztraminer, which here offers grapes with an outstanding aromatic profile.
