Why choose the Magnum size, on such an important Trentodoc?
The Magnum format allows a more harmonious development and a slower evolution of the wine.
In fact, it allows better preservation because it is twice the bottle in terms of size, but this proportion does not apply to the neck.
This has the effect of limiting aeration. Thus it is that this prestigious Trentodoc will undergo a kind of mini-oxidation much slower than in 0.75L bottles.
The choice of Magnum format on prestigious vintages is then also dictated by temperature variations. The 1.5L format has a higher thermal inertia, takes longer to cool or heat up, and its contents undergo to less thermal shock.
Here are the many reasons for choosing this large format, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also able to enhance the enological qualities of the product.
